The result of the teaching unit
When teaching unit of fractions was finished we could
do a valuation of how was it in general.
As you could see, we couldn’t do all the activities
that were provided. So, probably we could do a different organisation because
some activities occupied more time. But we think that the most important ones were
well done, more or less.
On the other side, we think that the most difficult
point for the students was the relation between decimal numbers and fractions. We
think that on the teaching unit could have been more activities that work this
concept. Probably, there could be also more graphics than there were.
By the other side, we asked students how they felt
doing the teaching unit. As we thought, the most difficult activity for them
was the decimals and fractions relation. The easier ones were activities
related to graphics.
So, we are proud with the results of the activities
but we think that some aspects could be changed.
