Session 3: Activity 6

This activity is an activity divided on three parts where students can continue working the relation between decimal numbers and fractions and where we introduce the operations with fractions.

In the activity, there are three questions:

1- Students in group have to do a puzzle where there are decimal numbers and fractions. All columns should add 1.

2- On the same groups they have to put decimals in the form of a fraction and fractions in the form of a decimal.

3- There are different questions related to the operations with fractions and decimals. They are the ones published on the following image. They have to do it on the same groups.

RESULTS

-First part: This part was really easy for the students.

-Second part: As it passed with other activities where there were relations between decimals and fractions, this relation was difficult to see for the students. So, we used another time the relation between decimals and euros.

-Third part: We could not do this part due to lack of time.
